- 40 min drive from Sydney’s house
- I didn’t plan lunch, so eat before leaving (option to do this together or separately)
- Get to your destination between 1 pm and 1:30 pm
Stop #1 (1 – 3pm)
Where: Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

Price: $15 per person. You’ve already been paid for and tickets should be in Sydney’s email at 12:45. Venmo @mckennar10 anytime or give her cash when you see her.
Surprise (open when you get here)
You’re going to see…. A mandolin band! If this doesn’t sound interesting, then simply enjoy the scenery and sculptures. The band plays from 1:30-3.
STOP #2
- 30 min from stop #1
- Decide if you need some caffeine, then pick your adventure between the options below.

If you’ve left the Arboretum before 2:45, check out Dandy Lion Cafe (they close at 3)
If you’ve left after 2:45, pull and Lauren and Sydney classic and get McDonald’s cokes

You’re soaring to new heights! Foshay tower here you come! Get ready to see stellar views of the city.
P.S. Did you know this building was designed to look like the Washington Monument?!?
Free Adventure Option (3:30 – 4 pm)
Park at the Guthrie parking ramp and do a mini photoshoot at the stone arch bridge! If you’re interested, go to the ninth floor of the Guthrie Theatre for some unique views!
Free Chill Option
Kick back and relax by the pool at Mckenna’s place!

Stop 3 (get there at 4:30 pm)
Go to Mckenna’s apartment to change and get ready for your next stop.

- 18-20 min from stop #3
Stop 4 (get there around 5 pm)
Strap on those helmets and get ready to go! Put “Lake Harriet Bandshell” into your maps and ride safely.
Surprise (open when you get here)
You going to see an orchestra! Set the picnic blanket down in the grass or on a bench to make it more comfy.
There’s ice cream at the Bread & Pickle food stand if you need a treat. Otherwise, enjoy the show!
Not down for more music? Bike or walk around the lake -or- Rent a paddle boat and enjoy the lake.
Stop #5 – Dinner Time!
- Around 7pm
